Tattoo - DuelSemiSpiral Crop Circle and Luna Work - Phase1

Luna scape and crop circle tattoo design with added Klingon text
Outlines started
with the designs under my arm I took the 5 minute walk from my front door to the studios of Monki Do. Jen worked her magic transferring my printed outlines to tracing paper which would be inked and placed onto my chest to leave the template ready to be tattooed. Turns out my 'to scale' work was about 10% to big so after a few adjustments Jen had the template perfected and laid out the work on my chest.
about

I had forgotten the sharp pain of the tattoo needle and was soon feeling pretty sore as she outlined the duel semi spiral crop circle which joined my previous spiral design and worked across my chest. The most painful thing was having my hand tucked behind my head which left my shoulder sore and pins and needles in my forearm and hand for ages. So we took a break a short while into the 'colouring in' stage to the semi circle.

After a few minutes it was back on the table for the rest of the filling in of the duel semi spirals part of the work. The filling in work never seems as painful as the outlining work, but the circles closest to my armpit were getting pretty sore. The circles closest to my nipple wasn't as sore but did give more of a burning sensation when being done.

After another hour or so Jen had finished the duel semi spiral crop circle tattoo and then started the outlines for the Luna scape and Klingon text design. We wouldn't have time to finish filling in the Luna scape or some extra crop circles I have designed so Jen just finished the outlines of the crater map.

This photo is after a week or so, soreness completely gone and only a few bits of scabbing remains.
